New Standard Public Consultation
All interested parties are invited to participate in the new GoodWeave Standard public consultation. The revised draft version 2.4.2 is now available for comment.
For the current revision, the GoodWeave Standards Committee considered over 300 individual comments from the first round of public consultation that ended on May 1, 2010. Click here to learn more.
The second public consultation takes place from June 30 – August 10, 2010.
Please download and read the consultation documents above. Comments may be submitted by:
- Sending a completed comment form or letter by mail to a GoodWeave country office (see sidebar for country office links);
- Sending a completed comment form or letter as an attachment by email to standards@goodweave.net; or
- Submitting comments directly online
GoodWeave invites all interested parties to participate actively in the consultation. Your opinions are important!

The aims of the consultation are to inform, involve, collaborate with and empower stakeholders (click here to learn more). Comments are considered by the GoodWeave Standards Committee in the development of the final version of the new Standard. Click here to learn more about the development process. The GoodWeave Operating Procedures describe the development process in more detail. The GoodWeave Standards Committee is the body that leads the development process (see the Terms of Reference).
